⛏️ Minecraft: Builders Finally Get Something They’ve Wanted for Years
Minecraft players have a reason to celebrate: Mojang is testing concrete stairs and slabs, giving builders much more freedom when designing colourful houses, cities and giant structures.
Concrete has been in Minecraft for years, but players have long complained that they could only use full blocks. That meant making sloped roofs, detailed steps and other shapes could be surprisingly difficult. The new stairs and slabs could make colourful builds much easier to design.
Mojang is also testing several other features for the next 2026 content drop. These include abandoned camps, cushions and the Dappled Forest, giving players more things to discover while exploring the Overworld.
